Blackfin Bistro - Key West

One of Key West best kept secrets. The back garden is amazing and you would never know it’s there. In fact you would never expect the food and service just by looking at it from the street. DONT GET THIS ONE GET BY.

Visited with my 2 daughters as a lovely Mother’s Day and birthday celebration at the recommendation of a local at our hotel. We could not have been more pleased. Our waiter and his assistant were fabulous. The service was by far the best we had in Key West. We had the shrimp bisque, lobster rolls, goat cheese croquettes, conch cakes, truffle fries, then finished up with an amazing key lime tarte and carrot cake. Every bite was so fantastic! We honestly could not pick a favorite. We also enjoyed the ambience of the courtyard seating. Definitely a hidden gem off of Duval Street. Can’t wait to go back!

Been to KW many times but this was the first time we tried Blackfin. So very sorry we waited! It was wonderful! We were hoping to sit outside on the patio but, as it had just started raining, we sat inside. Truthfully, I was happy for the air conditioning. Food was absolutely delicious and portions were more than enough. Next time, we'll plan to split an appetizer instead of each ordering our own. Warning! If you're looking for inexpensive, this may not be for you but if you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, head to Blackfin Bistro.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious, and the grouper special of the day was exceptional. I highly recommend the food overall. Rating: 5/5
