We had a great breakfast at Damron’s. Quiche, bread for toast, jam, and pecan roll were all made from scratch and delicious. The cafe is very inviting, and our whole experience was really enjoyable.

Wonderful little gem in Kewanee. Very friendly folks; spotlessly clean; and excellent food. Great coffee, fresh baked breads and sweets worth the trip anytime. Wife and I try to stop in at least once a week. Really hoping they resume the lunch menu soon am looking forward to tasting more delicious dishes from their creative kitchen...

Most all freshly made food. Bakery goods. Cookies and sweet treats. I had a oatmeal cream pie. It had a hint of cinnamon. OMG! Delicious. Big portions. We had breakfast. Homemade bread for toast. American fries. MMM. I'd recommend them for any meal.

I have not eaten here or carried out. I had messaged them the day before I was coming for the first time. It is 40 minutes from me and I was going to be in the area at 11ish and asked if there is usually still a decent sized assortment of bakery treats at that time in the day, as I know many mom/pop places don 't always have a steady stream of products being produced through the day until nearly closing. I was told they were open until 4 and had plenty of an assortment. Got there earlier at 10:30 and was disappointed. While it is somewhat quaint looking, the smell in there was awful. Not a smell of baked goods or breakfast cooking. Old building, an almost old wet wood smell, smelled dirty, stinky. Didn 't look dirty but smelled that way. And not much of an assortment of bakery treats and I had lost my appetite with that smell anyway.
