Warm Springs Day Lodge - Ketchum

I love this lodge, great food, fantastic view of warm springs and just an overall really nice experience.

Pricey but very strong cocktails that we enjoyed out on the patio in the sun watching the skiers come off the mountain.

*Since the remodel you can't even tell there was such a massive fire, still the classed up joint it always has been and I like where they put the bar compared to where it was, the food is remarkably good in the cafeteria too and there's no better spot on the mountain to people watch out on the patio.

Of the big three lodges on Baldy this is the only one with Bathrooms on main floor. Ask the architech why but I appreciate that they finally got it right. They ring the bell for fresh cookies. There is now a water fountain which is nice for those of us who need to drink while skiing. Before the current building there was a classically tacky A-frame. I don't miss it but it was period building. Someone could post old photos

It smells kinda funny outside because of the sulfur springs, but nothing too bad, and kinda a cool phenomenon... Great place to stop and rest during a day of skiing. Great layout in the lodge for a few people or even a big group. Absolutely beautiful location.
