Griffith and Feil Soda Fountain

I love this little pharmacy/ old fashion soda pop restaurant. Its the perfect place for an old timey date. They have a large variety of drink selections.

Perfect local stop! AMAZING sodas and egg creams! Walking into the soda fountain restaurant is like stepping back in time. The sodas are made like back in the day, there are still original parts of the restaurant, and the decor is very fitting. What ties it together is the history showcased all over the walls of the restaurant. Pictures, newspaper articles, more showcase the history of the town and the restaurant. Very neat! My husband and I came in for breakfast on November 1st and we loved the atmosphere! The food was delicious; we had the Pineapple and blue Berry stuffed French toast with bacon. More importantly, the staff were fantastic and very warm and welcoming. Definitely stop in for a meal if you get the chance.

This is a special place! The pharmacy staff is top-notch, and the kitchen serves delicious, high-quality treats. Forget retail pharmacy chains... this is exactly the kind of place and people you want to provide medication services. I hope the good people of Kenova realize how lucky they are to have a place such as Griffith Feil and the caring staff behind the counter.

I guess we picked the wrong day to visit, it seems most things were out of order from the Jukebox to the phosphate soda fountain. Very disappointed. When we arrived were promptly greeted and told they were out of ice, no problem. We took our seats and inquired about the phosphate soda flavors, only to be told it was out of order and had been for sometime. We tried to order pie and coffee, they were out of pie. We ordered butter pecan ice cream, only for the server to comeback and tell us they were out of that as well. We wanted to take my father in law for a stroll down memory lane and a phosphate soda but we were offered can coke with no ice. The server did a great job sympathizing with us and offeringapologies. She is the only reason we will give this place another chance, after they fix the soda machine.
