Bidrage med feedbackIf you drove from Chicago to Milwaukee, you have undoubtedly seen signs for the Mars Cheese Castle and its distinctive façade. Tourist trap, think. Think again. No need to get rid of fraud. The cheese castle is a palace of all things cheese and, well, everything you can think that go with cheese. You will receive the royal treatment of helpful staff. Would you like to enjoy your palate immediately, taste the tavern or snack bar. Both serve delicious Morsel. Of course you can also load drinks. The interior builds on the outside and you will feel like a king or queen depending on your own identity.
It was nice to come back here. so many cheeses available. the place also offers sandwiches a bar and desserts. I liked the mais that grows wild on the parking lot. I picked up a 15 year old cheddar. it's great at room temperature. very rich taste. it's always a nice experience. here.
The restaurant was good price. had a few baked goods rehearsed. cute environment, but were expensive. we bought some cheese curds but were a little disappointed that they were not very aromatic. it's still been fun.
I've been over here since the 1980s and hadn't stopped since I was little. the new building is beautiful and a great look. the layout is the same with all the cheese to the right when they go, then different sections with drinks (alcohol and alcohol-free), a bakery, restaurant, bar and a part of the souvenirs. also they have rehearsals of the cheese hexe really nice because they have such a variety, it is hard to know if they like them. my wife actually bought a vanilla flavor cheese because of the rehearsal table. Finally, there are several check-out lanes so that the wait in line is minimal and the staff is super friendly. will be back!
Nice tourist attraction with great meats, cheeses, and beer- all of what you would expect from Wisconsin! Lots of samples to try. There is also a bar and a diner on location. We ordered the cheese curds (sadly didn't get a pic) which were devoured quickly! Great place to stop while in WI
