Bidrage med feedbackGreat atmosphere. Mark and Jossy have created a great, fun space. Great live music with a really good sound system. The beer is good and there's always something good on the menu, which changes regularly to allow local sourcing.
We stopped in for a flight and a beer which were good. It has a really friendly vibe and is not nearly as scary on the inside!
My wife and I have tried giving this place multiple chances. But my goodness the service at KBC is utterly lacking. Every single time too. Which is a shame since the beer is phenomenal and the food is great and the location and atmosphere are uniquely charming. But good luck getting any type of decent customer service if you are not one of the owners' exclusive favorites. If you are not a regular you are destined to suffer long wait times for your orders, un-pleasant interactions with the wait/bar staff or be simply flat out ignored. Every other year we say we will try them again and, without fail, a trip to KBC turns out the same: disappointment. As KSQ locals we want to love them .... but why put up with the elitist attitudes when there are other, actually friendlier options in town?
Great beer, food, and music. Only problems are the limitations: size (on busy nights it's hard to find a place to sit if you want to eat) and kitchen hours (kitchen closes early at 8).
DON'T GO HERE FOR ANYTHING BUT BEER. Classic pub vibe with mediocre live music and decent brews. We sat outside so that we could chat since the music was loud inside. My wife and I were there with 2 other couples. 4 of us ordered, paid, and returned to our seats. The 3rd couple went to the bar to order about 5 minutes later. They were told the kitchen was closed...it was 615pm. The kitchen had run out of food, and our friends awkwardly watched us eat. Our food was decent, but the other couple's (the ones that were fortunate enough to be served) was downright horrible. Kennett Square deserves more than this from an establishment repping its name.
