Publix Super Market At Wade Green Village

Great quality of the food items. It costs more than competitors.

Up until yesterday, 12 September, I have always had exceptional service at check out. At the customer service desk, two employees were having a deep personal (not work related) conversation that went on for minutes, totally ignoring the customers. Then another woman and young man came from the office area and never acknowledged me or said to the two conversing there's a customer waiting. Then, as I leave the store, two more employees are chit chatting, look at me and don't say thank you for shopping at Publix or any type of words normally said. The kicker, employees here and there in the store basically hiding their cell phones and texting away, including the young lady by the carts inside the entrance to the store. I will say thank you to the hard working cashiers for their diligence assisting customers checking out and to the department workers who assisted me in deli, bakery and dairy departments.

Bad customer service. The rude cashier who rang me up at aisle 4 on September 9th was whining the whole time about having to scan cans of cat food. Her name is Marcy according to the receipt. She kept letting me know throughout the time she was ringing stuff up, and even said something to the young girl who was bagging the groceries as I was leaving. This, even though I stacked the little cans according to type so that she could scan one and multiply the rest. I've had cashiers at other stores thank me for doing this and making their jobs a little easier. I don't know, maybe Marcy never learned basic multiplication and would prefer that I sling them all over the counter next time. Not that there will be a next time, because I'll stick to the 2 Baker Road locations that I usually go to in the future, where I don't have to deal with this nonsense. Publix needs self checkouts right now.

Smallish grocery store, but definitely better than the Kroger north of here. Haven't tried the other stores south of this location though.

Very clean store and friendly customer service they greet you at the entrance and thank you for coming when leave . I love shopping at Publix also for the quality of the food.
