While the interior is reminiscent of a good old fashioned BBQ joint, (complete with checkered tablecloths it almost has a vibe of not being fully finished yet. While there are a few wall-hung pieces of art and such, they 're a bit sparse.But then, one doesn 't go to a restaurant to enjoy the decor, does one?The food itself is top notch, and while the price points are... let 's go with ambitious ... Once you have your first few bites, though, the price is much more worth it. The fried okra is perfection. The fried chicken looks, crunches, and tastes like mom used to make.The service is prompt, friendly, and rather pleasant company. (Shout-out to Anna!

They have some good Chicken that's very tender and juicy.

We went on a Friday evening and it was not particularly busy, but the food was absolutely amazing as was the service. We went with our 5 year old and 1.5 year old and the server was so kind and friendly with our kids. Easily the BEST fried chicken I’ve had in my life, and lots of kid-friendly options too. We’ll definitely return!

Had a GrubHub order. The fried chicken was okay. I got three sides. All were nasty baked beans, greens, mac and cheese. It tasted like something straight out of a box. I would not recommend. Got a pecan pie. It tasted like it's been wrapped in plastic for years.
