Method to the madness! Amazing little Shakespearean themed cafe tucked away in Kenmore with warm friendly service, strong smooth coffees and a menu that makes your mouth water. I have been multiple times for breakfast and lunch, and each time has been consistently top notch. One of the better cafes Brisbane has to offer in my opinion!
Great food and coffee. The staff were super nice and welcoming. I ordered the something wicked Benny and my partner ordered the A Bowl for the Romans. I must say I really loved my dish and thought it was pretty well balanced. I especially loved the pulled pork, very flavorful and tender. The waffles were savory instead of sweet which was to my appeal. I also appreciated the fact that the dish was a bit spicy, which made it interesting to taste. My partner really enjoyed his dish as well and we both agreed that the falafels were out of this planet. There were other dishes I wanted to try like the Japanese hot cakes and the softshell crabs, maybe we will go back sometime. There was something that we found quite confusing though. When we walked in we couldn’t tell where the line was as there were a bunch of people standing all over the place and we didn’t know who had already ordered and who were waiting. But in general, it was a very enjoyable and pleasant experience. Thanks for the great service.
Not too early for a sweet dish. I rarely have a brekkie at the cafe, so sweet brekkie is what I always get because there is lots of time to digest, isn't it? HAHAHA Perfumes of Australia was my fave, which was Churros French toast with lots of topping. If you're guys interested in, I highly recommend that you should do the reservation because their cafe is pretty busy all day! :
If you have read Shakespeare through your schooling days, or at your own leisure, you may appreciate the bent of Method to the Madness in Kenmore. The eatery name caught our attention when it first opened a few months ago, but as it was all the way on the other side of town, we put off visiting until one day when we felt particularly in need of a new place to go.
