Peninsula Steak House - Kenai

We have heard how the flats are the best place to eat on half the island as we are here; but never had a chance to eat there until recently. no reservations required, we are at the live music in the night (on Thursday! we were worried about our 2nd old running auck and the noise pushed his terrible toddler demonstration. turns out that the little man loved to watch the performer and sat down all the time! he finished all his cheeseburger and pommes! high reviews of this small park: the entrance was for the first time harder. could be the snowstack or be slowed down by a busy fast road that made it hard. either the cost-effective parking fills quickly. perhaps they measure their parking space for the capacity of the dining room? atmosphere: classic cabin on the kenai. or at least the flat surface that passes through the flow. when entering our little child has pointed to local photos of the animal world on the walls. the bar area is not like other places in their face. the live actor made it a bit loud about the restaurant chat. but he was a talented man who seemed not overlaid with his music. service: we were greeted at the entrance and did not see the sign on the counter. but we still sat fast. we felt that the service was a bit slow and she was a coloring for the children, but not crowning, even after we had asked. the manager / the owner went around to watch and check with the guests. gumbo was a winner with the spouse, although a little embarrassing. fowl was perfectly boiled and tasted like the aromes of alaska and north light.

I do not write often critiques, but this restaurant has something special in itself and it deserves high marks. we are not local to alaska and are randomly stumbled in the restaurant of a Google search. the waiting staff is really impressive. they can see how they work as a team instead of their table, my table mentality. there is no hurry to turn the table. fresh cutlery when it is needed between flutes that train this personal, really knows what it does. the food was excellent. we both had the jalapeño infused pork and I can honestly say it is the best meal I had in very long time. the court was as unique as anyone I ever had and deserves a place in the chic restaurants in American big cities. Here's good. I hope I can have the opportunity to visit again.

Excellent fish and chips. tested the locally brawed root beer and was not disappointed. at the end of the meal the owner treated us to dessert on the house. Carrot cake for the small dam and chocolate cake for me, both served with vanilla ice cream, and both very tasty.

For a pleasant culinary experience is the apartment bistro one of my favorite restaurants in the surroundings. my group of 6 including 3 children appreciate their effort, we entertain live music with coloring for the children. the black garnel fatuccini was cooked to perfection. the sides were divided among us and chicken pieces from the children's menu. everything was delicious.

Delicious beef stroganoff. Not too long a wait. Warm friendly atmosphere. Prices were a little elevated. Nice place to dine.
