Bidrage med feedbackReidar Sarestoniemi Museum. This is the homestead where he lived. His grandparents had built the original cabin. In that part I saw wonderful carved spoons used for every day life, lots of other tools, and the only Husqvarna treadle sewing machine I've ever seen. We finished our self guided tour with freshly made Pulla rolls and coffee in the gift shop
Beautiful paintings and nice buildings the museum area. Also some sheep. Exhibition changed quite a bit from our last visit 2 years ago. The Gallery has the most impressive paintings.
The art is just amazing. Leave your clock by the road and take it slow. If you hurry, you're just going to break your car.
A beautiful place in the middle of the forest. Reidar had wonderful paintings and his spirit seems close in the buildings. Definitely worth a visit!
Road can be in bad condition during summer. While theres snow it's much smoother. Very nice place and worth a visit
