McDonald's - Kelowna

Perfect order. Possibly the best Macdonald's fries ever.

I and my friend got hired in June for this location and the schedule that we gave was specifically for weekends. But the manager gave shifts for Monday only(one shift). And after a while they put us for three days shift only in weekdays although we tried to adjust for that schedule. But eventually we were getting nothing for weekends so we decided to quit and seek out for something else. Basically it is our right that we can quit during our probation period so we called in and talked to managers that were present at that moment named Harkomal and Sahil for our resignation. But the store manager Jen* spread out the rumours that she fired us and that is not true. And in future we are unable to apply for any other McDonald location because of her as she put reviews on their workplace app. Moreover on our first shift during training her behaviour was disrespectful and inappropriate.Although the crew members that we worked with was very supportive and kind specially manager Cheena, she is a really kind lady. Except for her Harkomal, Sahil, Mary and Lizz are very friendly and help us alot.

Sausage, egg, McMuffin, with hash browns, was hot and fresh.

For McDonald's, this is our favorite location. The day manager (Indian fellow. Cant remember his name) is superb at his job and delivers the best service. Food is always good for McDonald's quality and if they miss something, they are quick to fix it.

The staff here really cares about their customers and their satisfaction if something isn’t right, they also work extremely hard, as someone who comes in pretty much every day for an iced coffee, extra cream and no liquid cane, if it happens to be busy and they make a mistake…there’s no attitude, they’re so nice. As someone who’s worked in the customer service/food industry (starbucks in the past, I know good customer service when I see it! Absolutely lovely people who work immensely hard in a difficult customer service job.PS: the new hire, Adam, works his butt off!! an absolute all-star, he’s always running around doing his job super efficiently. He’s definitely become my favourite very quickly : Great job Adam!
