Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken

Went closer to closing time around 8pm.. was our first time trying this little hidden restaurant corner and we where pleasantly surprised, their chicken is good quality and their side salad had some acidity that actually complimented the chicken burger. I personally thought the whole meal for $13.99 was reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to others :

First time to dine in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and conformable. Staff is very friendly. Of course, the grilled chicken is good.

I missed Nando's so I came to this restaurant. I would consider their food to be very similar to Nando's. The difference is the hot sauce is less sour than Nando's so I like it more than Nando's. However, the chicken wings I got were a bit too burnt; it had a slightly bitter taste on the skin and was less juicy than Nando's. Nevertheless, they still tasted good. Classic/peri fries, rice, and coleslaw were also pretty good. Service was above average.

Food was good. Served warm. For first timers, you need to order food and they will serve it once it is cooked on the table that you have chosen. We ordered family serving of chicken and had mild sauce, with toast and side dishes of sweet potato fries and mash potato. Drinks are bottomless. Great for family and groups of people. The chicken was slightly over grilled but that's excusable, I guess it happens. Customer service was good too. I was slightly disappointed though since I was made to order dark meat specific items, rather than allowing me to order the whole chicken deal which was cheaper and came with garlic bread as well. In Vancouver that's never an issue. But other than that, the rest was good.
