Bamboo Chopsticks Restaurant Express

We ordered first (it’s counter service) and if I had looked more closely at the place I would have left. The bathrooms, booths and floor are disgusting. Seriously. I love a greasy spoon, hole in the wall, and we’re eaten here in the past many times but yuck. Not again unless things change.

The food here is decent. You order at the counter here and they bring it to you. A bit of a concern with safety with 5 or 6 seedy people hanging out in the parking lot in front of this place.

We visit Kelowna from Alberta frequently and ALWAYS stop at Bamboo. The food is always fresh and top notch the service is always friendly and impeccable. Highly recommend for a delicious healthy choice !!!

Such yummy food, great service, and they even had gluten free soy sauce! I had the chicken vermicelli and a spring roll. The chicken vermicelli was excellent and exactly what you expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. The spring roll was one of the best spring rolls I've ever had. The filling was excellent and the wrapper was really crispy and flaky.

Pretty good for what it is. The positives-your meal is cooked to order, the place looks very clean, and the staff are super kind and friendly. I ordered the seafood stir fry and spring rolls. The spring rolls came out hot and crisp however lacked the flavour I have come to expect from other Vietnamese spring rolls I have had elsewhere. The seafood stir-fry came out steaming hot! There is lots on the plate however most of it is noodles. I would have liked much more substance and less filler. Cut down on the portion size and add more substance. I also found the dish bland and would have enjoyed much more Vietnamese flavour.
