Kearney Trailside Cookhouse

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, from the burgers and fries to the poutine and fish and chips. The service is efficient and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. Be prepared to eat a lot, as the portions are generous. This is definitely one of the best places to eat in the area.

We had to wait in line for a few orders ahead of us when we decided to eat, but the wait was not long at all. It was definitely worth the stop! The prices are affordable, the owners are friendly, and our food was prepared much quicker than we anticipated. To top it off, the food was some of the best we've ever had. Their deep fried pickles are amazing, the homemade fries are delicious, and the veggie burger was unexpectedly tasty. We highly recommend this place!

The owners were so much fun to hang out with, and the poutine and hot sauce they had were top-notch! I will definitely be returning next weekend!

I took my family into Algonquin Park for the weekend. We came out as hungry as the bears on our way out we stopped in at this restaurant. I ordered the Lumberjack burger , my wife had a fish burger and both my kids...ate fingers with fries. We enjoyed our meal so much. Friendly staff and the condiments available for my burger were endless. We will be back. Thank you kindly!

Great food and great service. This is a takeout restaurant. You can sit on deck to eat or take to picnic tables in yard. Great stop on your way to the cottage or Algonquin Park (Tim Lake or Rain Lake campgrounds) in beautiful Kearney Ontario...Canada.
