Bidrage med feedbackNot consistent in food flavor n recipes, we ordered a few times as far from Tru India. Each order has different tastes in mutton dum biryani and mirapakaya kodi. This time, we baked Lolipop chicken rather deeply fried and baked suckers do not taste well. We felt that biryani taste was good before, but not consistent every week. We recommend Cashew Chicken Pakora from this place, but every time you call to place order for this item, they say it takes 1 hour to prepare if you have time to try spicy Cashew Chicken pakora.
I want to give a minus, but there is no option. The most ridiculous service I've ever seen. They serve super cold dosa. When we asked for hot food, the serving person gave us a look. After 45 minutes we decided to leave the restaurant. When we were in the billing counter, they came with Dosa, you can believe it was also cold. What service was that? They didn't serve us water. Never go back. And they escape as normal. It's really bad.
This was a Truly a food in India on a side-stock experience?. Flying, dirty interior and served with plastic dishes and paperboard and plastic utensils as a culinary experience. But wait, we ordered masala tosai and it came deconstructed!? masala was in a plastic container instead of the Tosai!? Briyani Reis was more dry than the Gobi Dessert and they served him with cold engraving!? Looks like all plastic is packed in the refrigerator. Never again!
We tried Dosa and Choles. Eating is just okay, not very good. Bhature are not a Punjabi feature, but they looked like Big Samosas without filling (we were little shocked). If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this place is not the answer. Dosa size is decent, but taste is just okay not great.
I am writing this review primarily because I can't understand how this restaurant is rated above 4 and that made me go there. In the name of chole- bhature, we got four small and really thick pieces of what looked like fried tortilla. Dosa was just okay.....it was pretty thick. So essentially, neither thin nor crunchy as a dosa should be. Their ambience is what shook us the most- definitely not a place for dine-in. Also, they serve food in to-go containers. Service was very slow too.
