Texas Tradition - Katy

Mac and cheese were the best. Fries seemed well seasoned, but had no crispy. It was like a French french frit that was cooked again to crack it. Good portions. Good service, even if the place was pretty crowded.

For the first time in this small local joint in Katy, seem like a small family business. very until the earthly restaurant building and great food and service. Workers are really friendly and hospitable, seem like they know their repetition customers with names. Food is also great and good generous portions

The softest steak ive had ever cooked. Spicy coleslaw was on the spot. Hushpupies were okay. Great atmosphere great service. Had a back deck for live band and heated outdoor seating. Definitely a hidden gem.

In Katy, Texas from 10 (sub from West Houston), is a rustic family restaurant called Texas tradition. The owner is orally of Illinois. They have a pork onion sandwich on their menu. It is a good size, roasted, but soft bungalow, tasteful bread and as moist as can tender!! You can also get a combination of fries and a drink. They offer many pages to choose from. I had roasted green tomatoes. Since I live 10 minutes away, I know where I go for my BPT fix!!!! I hope you will support an excellent local restaurant!!

I can't say enough about this place! Texas traditional food with the best environment and staff! If you like chicken fried steak there is no better place I have been in the Houston area. I am here as much as possible!
