Bidrage med feedbackThe Yellow Deli is a lovely addition to the stunning scenery of the Blue Mountains. The handcrafted and unique interior gives off a charming and whimsical vibe similar to the Shire from the Lord of the Rings. They had a warm fire going by 11am for brunch and offer a variety of coffees and alternative milks. The sandwiches are a must-try, as it seems everything is made in-house.
Such a nice place, the people are so friendly. Even if there was a wait to get in, the dude at the front treated it like it was no problem to get us in and they took our number and called us when a table was ready. The place looked like it was hand built, kind of reminded me of somewhere I would go to eat in middle earth.. The food was so wholesome and homely. Kind of felt like I was invited to eat in someone’s home, and they were really good at cooking. My Reuben sandwich was brilliant. Also you have to try the green juice it’s actually really good. 10 out of 10 for the Reuben sandwich and the chili.. can’t wait to find an excuse to drive up to Katoomba and go back…
Super cute cafe in Katoomba town in Blue Mountains. The menu is small but very well selected with Sandwiches, Salads and small deserts along with Smoothies and other drinks all made in-house. The staff is family like, super courteous and always happy and smiling. The sandwiches are super tasty. A must visit. Best is to call them 30 minutes before your arrival and they will put your name on wait list. The wait times are not very long, approximately 20-30 minutes as the menu is mainly sandwiches and salads.
The restaurant is quirky and charming, with decor that transports you to a woodland realm. The food is tasty and satisfying, with a menu focused on health. I chose the lamb sandwich with the soup of the day (creamy tomato) and hibiscus lime maté blend tea. They also have a variety of herbal teas to choose from. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. I will definitely be returning for breakfast next time.
The food is so yummy and the place is so cozy. I definitely want to go again to try more food. Only bad thing is the place is so busy even on a weekday that I can't settle in a corner with my book. It definitely has that kinda ambience. Food is reasonably priced as well
