Baan Thai Restaurant Durbarmarg

I am really impressed by the quality of food and service.

The hotel is located in Durbarmarg near the Narayanhiti Palace (Residence of Royal Family of Nepal). This place has best hot chocolate in town. Hot chocolate must try, so is cappuccino. Milk in cappuccino was thick and mixture was perfect. We tried cheesecake and burgers and everything is good. There are also books here, but you can't read books here that you have to buy. If they had allowed the books to be read, it would have been one of the best coffee houses. This place is located on the top floor next to the bank, so you should not be confused with another coffee shop on the ground floor.

This is probably the best coffee I had in Nepal. Yugal, the Barista master, made me an amazing long black with a tempting aftertaste. I recommend it. It's quiet and inconspicuous. The food, I tried Aglio Olio, was also good, although the part let me want more. My only question was that they would allow smoking inside.

One of the best restaurants in the city if you are looking for coffee, snacks and much more. Friendly staff, cozy decor and perfect cleanliness make this property in one of my best in Durbarmarg. Order a coffee or food of your choice, sit with some books / newspapers there or Chit chat with your friends / beloveds. Eating is really authentic. New York Style Burger is my favorite piece here. Very recommended
