Ace Himalayan - Kathmandu

We almost passed this place, but had a quick look at the menu. the word vegan' seen on a few pages, so we went in. Vegan options marked clearly on menu, and the owner said other curries could be made vegan. we ordered a thali and an Aloo gobi. both vegan and delicious. they also have other options on the menu, and the owner was clear that they can veganize other things also. it is a simple, typical catthmandu, restaurant. nothing nice. our only grip is that smoking is allowed inside (as many restaurants). price good. updated by previous review on 2019-05-29

Best for group people by seating. Something dark inside should be bright during the day. People who want to be silent and rest can go here.

Best Shashuka I have ever had!!!! Great value for money and very nice and helpful staff. My boyfriend loved the fried rice and his Momos. Will definitely be back

Great little restaurant for a cheap feed. Tables were clean and the food was affordable, tasty and well portioned. A quiet, friendly atmosphere makes Ace a good place for a meal if you're not after anything too fancy.

Walked by and looked at the menu on the street looked apealing and the prices seemed reasonable. When we ordered inside, the prices were significantly higher. After we confronted him with the differences of the prices, he was making excuses that he didn‘t get to renewing all menus. What a coincidence that the cheap menu was outside to lure the people in. After 2 weeks checking, he hasn’t changed it. The food was good, small portion sizes.
