Just re-opened, the food is possibly the best in Kassel right now, outstanding quality, very reasonable price, the staff are always so helpful and nice, the Sudhaus is now my number one place to eat in Germany, can’t rate this food high enough, it really is that good

Novel interior design, cool copper vat seating . Food was really well presented, very tasty food would highly recommend.

Walkend half an hout to GO there for a beer and something to eat. Didn’t answer the phone, but opening hours till 9 pm, so we took a chance. Arrived at 7, plenty of free tables but were told that they didn’t welcome new guests because they had such a busy evening the day before. They had decided to close early…At first it was the two of is, but while talking to the unfriendly girl socalled personnel, there came like 4 more couples that were sended away. While the opening hours on their own website are till 9 pm! Lousy hipsterious crappy place….

The Schmandschnitzel was tender but a little tasteless. The house made French Fries not crispy enough but not bad at all. The Cucumber salad was nice. The draft beers are good but they also offer some craft beers. A bit pricey but great. I had a nice hoppy IPA. The restaurant itself offers an interesting environment. Good place for a team dinner. Prost.
