Jiā Xī Shén Jī レストラン

This is a service area located on the Hyogo prefecture of the China Expressway. I stopped in for a restroom break and took my dog along as they had a dog run. It was quite spacious, allowing my dog to play freely within the fenced area. They also provided amenities such as water facilities and toys, which was nice.

Although the facility is old, it is well-maintained as it has been around since the Showa era. It was crowded in the evening, but thankfully it did not turn into a chaos of large vehicles. It was puzzling to find that Kobe Fugetsudo's petit gaufres were available in the downhill shop but not in the uphill shop. I ended up buying white rabbit financiers from Shu Seika, even though my departure point was Yonago. It seems that I couldn't resist trying out the same maple leaf financiers from the same manufacturer at Asa SA a few days ago (same production method, different seller). Such is the nature of a food enthusiast! (laughs)

"We used the dog run. It was midday on a weekday, so there were no other dogs and we had it all to ourselves. There were water stations, a pet toilet, and a pet waste bin available. There were a lot of mosquitoes due to the bamboo grove next to it, so insect repellent is a must during the summer. I think it's a great place for a dog's rest stop during a drive."

姫路方面への仕事の帰りに立ち寄りました。 それほど大きいSAではありませんが、中国道の中では比較的大きめのSAです。 フードコートのメニューは多彩で、いろんなご飯が楽しめるので山陰方面へ向かう人はけっこう立ち寄ると聞きました。 自分は11月に立ち寄り、さんま蒲焼き重セットをいただきました。 また、お土産のレパートリーの多さが目を引きます。 姫路など兵庫のお土産はもちろん、山陰のお土産もありました。 また、地域の果物やぬいぐるみ、あとメダカも売ってました。
