Bidrage med feedbackThis is the first bakery I have been to that continually sells cold pies. Went to this bakery after 8 in the morning and got offered to get my pie microwaved, immediately I turned around and left. Although there have been times they were sold above 60° I am questioning the quality control of this place.
This morning I found out this place has an awesome scam going on. I have always liked coming here, nice food, and good service, well so I thought. Today I found out they now charge 50c extra for using EFTPOS. Doesn't matter if you spend $1 or $100,you are going to get an extra 50c placed on top. I did not know this, until I walked away, and the payment alert came up on my phone. My $8 purchase came up as $8.50. I did notice when paying,he had the price covered, and would only let me tap. I approached him, only for him to say, sorry, I forgot to tell you, extra 50c to use EFTPOS, before pointing out a tiny hand written sign, nowhere near the payment station. I certainly won't be returning, there are other places in Rockingham equal or better, that aren't so deceitful.
Great traditional pies and sausage rolls custard tarts are always to a high standard. Service: Take out Meal type: Brunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Best local pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Priced well. Lunch trade only so choice is best before lunch. Stock disappears relatively quickly. No dine-in, takeaway only. Proprietors are very friendly and service oriented. Buy early. Freshness declines as the day advances.
Purchased a cream eclair that was days old, stale and cream was going off. Also a quiche Lorraine that was almost cold and dry. I paid a premium price for this off food too and now I have suspected food poisoning. I will definitely be sticking to Sarah’s at Bertram and Kwinana from now on who have far superior food and is clearly labeled if it is not fresh. Even that food is fresher than what I had today at Shoalwater Sarah’s
