Shady Glade Cafe - Karnack

A great little place to get lunch near Caddo Lake State Park. Good food and friendly service from a locally-owed business that seems to a favorite with the locals.

Breakfast was really good. Love the biscuits..cut in half, buttered, and toasted. Bacon was crispy and plenty of hash browns. Coffee was good as well. Service was curtious and quick. Good view of the lake.

The food there was nothing short of amazing. There were 4 of us in our group. 1 had fish, 1 had catfish,1 had salmon patties and I had chicken fried steak. We all agree the food was fantastic. Mine was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had.

LOVE, this place. Small but the lady taking our order was so nice and happy. Now to the food! IT WAS GREAT. Got the BOB (breakfast on bun), egg was perfect, along with the crispy bacon and cheese.

I had chicken fried steak and coconut cream pie. I must be in heaven.
