The Ocean Pearl - Kārkala

Ocean pearl mangalore can never impress with its services. I usually visit for lunch, dinner and a cup of tea. I am welcome by the reception. latha shetty always gives a good suggestion about the pleasant things about the hotel. we have hosted a family function here, everyone is impressed by their hospitality and service offered. highly recommended.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. The Room service was very good. The hotel is very neat and clean.Complimentary breakfast is very tasty, nutritious and healthy.

Food- 8/10 Ambience 9/10 Staff- 4/10 Food The food is great. Quantity needs to be improved though. It is very less. I have listed the enitre menu below Ambience Good for a family dinner,not so much with friends. Live music plays everyday(except Monday) with a professional singer. Staff- The hotel needs more staff. The service is painfully slow,you have to wait for about 30 mins. They didn't even serve the welcome drinks.

Good hotel with a luxury feel. Staff behavior does not match though. Valet parking manager was rough in talks. Too much stress on handing over car and moving. No view from room, just a peek to side building where you can see clothes drying. Booked extra bed and they gave a broken one with its support ties up with rope see attached photo They did not change it the same night despite raising complaint. Very uncomfortable night on that ever rocking bed. Escalated in the morning and they changed the bed but still charged me fully. Food was good.. look for green pesto pasta and spagettin in red sauce. Amazing. Overall okay experience. Will look for other options during next trip.

Why do they seem to think that they own the sidewalk outside their hotel? Hello, it is public land and please treat it like one and not your private property. Get a decent parking place when you build a big building.
