Bidrage med feedbackI read about this historic burger joint online and my family and I came in before goig to watch the Royals play! We were absolutely thrilled we choose this place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was like going back in time! If you decde to try this place you must get. Malt they are so good! We will be coming back! Oh the waitresses were so nice ours evn showed my son how to eat his root beer float(she fed it to him) he loved it!
This place is classic Kansas City. The decor isn't much to look at, but the food is surprisingly good, especially the burgers and shakes. The shakes, in fact, are perhaps the best I've ever had. My one complaint is that it's a bit expensive for what you get. Lunch for two was $30 after tip, which is on the high side for this kind of place, at least in my opinion. We will be back anyway, of course.
There’s a reason this place has been open since 1937. It isn’t because of fancy schmancy decor or an exotic menu. It isn’t because of the comfortable and available seating. It is just damned fine greasy diner food served by damned fine people, the way our forefathers intended it!
Town topic hamburgers is a very special place. The experience starts with just getting there, being located in the crossroads district. When walking up to the little white box of a restaurant you get to feeling that nothing about it has changed in 50 years. Inside you are greeted by the aroma of sizzling beef and sounds milkshakes blending. Burgers are perfect as are their fries. But don't forget their breakfast menu and fresh made pies.
A cozy hole in the wall burger joint, reminiscent of an old school diner. Our food was delicious!
