Kokoro Maki House - Kansas City

Delicious and reasonably priced Japanese Korean food, and the BEST California rolls!

It's a very peaceful and chill sushi house. The seating is unique as well as the atmosphere, and the service personnel are always patient and accommodating. The food is always delicious, I usually go for the Sunday morning specialty sushi, but I recently ordered the bulgogi, and it was so yummy! 10/10

I had high expectations because of the reviews but this restaurant left a lot to be desired. I ordered yellowtail and salmon nigiri and an eel roll. The fish on the nigiri was so thinly sliced and looked old. The eel roll was good although it had a lot more cucumber than eel in it. I also wasn’t expecting to serve myself.

This place has been, and continues to be, great. Love the food.
