Theva Cuisine - Kandy

I have been wanting to try Theva's restaurant for a while now, so during my recent trip to Kandy, I finally made it a point to visit. I had read about it being one of the top 5 restaurants in Kandy, so I made a reservation for dinner with Russell, who was very helpful. The restaurant is situated in a cozy spot on the hills of Hantana, and the tuk ride up was quite an adventure. The only downside was that we had to arrange for a ride back at a higher rate, but the manager helped us secure one, which was a great relief. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the town, which was magical even at nighttime. The dining area had a lovely ambiance, with soft music playing in the background, adding to the overall experience. We quickly ordered from the menu available on the site and enjoyed dishes such as Hot butter Cuttlefish, Grilled Chicken with BBQ sauce, and Chicken onion masala. We also ordered soft drinks to accompany our meal. While we found the dishes flavorful, we felt that the grilled chicken could have been more succulent. The service was excellent, with the manager and staff being very attentive to our needs. We definitely plan on coming back for lunch soon.

We dined here with family and almost immediately we felt how attentive the staff was, knowledge about the menu and professional service. The food was perfect in quantity, taste and style. Their homemade ice cream so good! Definitely stop-by if in Kandy.

We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The room was lovely and the food great. The views over Kandy were beautiful.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and had 2 amazing dinners. The pool was only a plunge pool really and didn’t get the sun so was a little cool! Rooms were clean and tidy but would have benefited from a headboard and side tables. The high view across Kandy were incredible.

I had a fantastic Mother's Day home delivery experience! I ordered lunch, dessert, and a bouquet of flowers from the UK to send to my mother in Kandy. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I had trouble finding a florist, but they went above and beyond by reaching out to a florist and arranging the bouquet delivery for me. The service was exceptional, and I will definitely be ordering from them again!
