Reserver

Bidrage med feedbackI gave him a lower rating because there was nothing I could eat and enjoy on the menu. If there is live entertainment it is a very short menu. If you go to dinner, there are so many possibilities. The servers were rushed when... it was a full venue. We were lucky to have Megan Stevenson as our server. She was competent, knowledgeable and looked like she really loves what she does.
We would like to thank Ironstone Grill Manager, Christine, for going above and beyond for us. The food and entertainment were outstanding, and the staff was extremely professional.
They used to have a very good menu and service was great. Since Brookstreet has taken over the menu, it is now very limited. There are other places in the area that are much better. Too bad. We used to like it for lunch and dinner.
I went to Ironstone Grill for lunch today with two friends. The restaurant was not very busy, with some people dining on the terrace. Since it was a bit chilly, we decided to sit inside. We were promptly greeted by a friendly young woman. Our server was fairly new, but was very pleasant and made an effort. However, we were disappointed with the food. The menu was limited, and the dishes were expensive and not very good. I ordered the fish and chips, which came with a small portion of coleslaw and tartar sauce, along with an unusually small lemon slice. The batter on the fish looked overcooked and black. When my friends mentioned this to the server, she simply said, “Let me know if there is a problem.” The presentation should never have been like that. Despite this, I ate it because I didn't want to sit there without food while my friends were eating. Later, I saw another plate go by with fish that had a golden brown batter, as it should have been. One of my friends had a pizza that looked like something a picky 5-year-old would make, with pepperoni as the only topping option. The other friend had a burger with fries, which she said was okay. The fries had a frozen coating. For dessert, we had limited options, and I chose the cheesecake. It was served on a large plate with walnuts and strawberry sauce, but was mediocre in taste and texture, resembling something store-bought and frozen. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Despite enjoying the atmosphere and friendly staff, the disappointing food experience has been consistent, including my visit before the pandemic in summer 2019. It's a shame, as the restaurant has potential but falls short in terms of quality.
My spouse and I went out for a pre-dinner snack (salad and wings) on Friday evening. The wings were okay, but not very abundant, and the beer selection was decent. However, the salad we ordered was terrible and we couldn't even eat it. There were not many people at the restaurant, so there was no justification for serving such poor quality food.
