Rayleigh Pub - Kamloops

Be sure to check the restaurant's operating hours before visiting. Despite information found online, including their Facebook page, stating that the restaurant was open all week, we were disappointed to discover that it was closed on Sundays and Mondays. This led to an inconvenient trip back to Kamloops with hungry children. Additionally, we were informed by the bartender that children were only allowed in the pub until 19:00, even though we arrived at 19:15 and there were only two customers present. It is important for businesses to accurately communicate their operating hours to avoid any confusion or inconvenience for customers.

The Rayleigh Pub, situated in the suburb of Kamloops, continues to embody the concept of a neighborhood pub. Conveniently located on Highway 5, The Yellowhead, with ample parking spaces, this pub offers a diverse drink menu and excellent food options. There is also a separate restaurant and takeaway service available. The residents of Rayleigh are fortunate to have such a convenient pub and restaurant nearby.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant and both of us really liked our meals. I had a BLT sandwich and he had a Denver omelette, both were delicious. We have never had a disappointing meal at this pub, the food is always consistently good.

Eating was just okay, service was bad, but it wasn't too busy. Screws our order in a great way and has nothing discount to reflect the big mistake. This will be the first and last visit.

We went to this pub which had hardly anyone in it... the waitress was sitting at a table near where we sat and she talked with her friend. She eventually got up and helped the table behind us...twice! Not once did she even acknowledge us then she sat down with her friend again... one other table noticed all this and were openly laughing at the absurdity of the situation. After about 15 minutes of this we got up and left. I can't rate the food as we weren't even spoken to and completely ignored. I wouldn't recommend this place solely based on the worst service I have had in a very long time. There must be a shortage of adequate staff in this area... we drove to Barrier for a good meal with good service.
