Jeje Mediterranean Grill Jeje Chicken

We came here in September after searching local food places near our hotel. The food was that amazing that we returned everyday for 3 days!! If you ever get a chance, you have got try the platter, we loved the chicken shawarma, lamb kebab and chicken kebab the best. Everything we tried on the menu was outstanding, from falafels, salad, hummus, flatbread, garlic sauce to baklava and tea. The portion sizes were more than enough at a good price. Alex and other staff were super friendly and welcoming. You guys have a magic touch when it comes to food. This is hands down the best Mediterranean food we have ever had and are hoping Jeje’s will expand to the UK very soon!

Everything is great but ordering by phone doesn't seem to affect WHEN your food will be prepared.

I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant until tonight. The man who closed tonight was incredibly rude down right unpleasant for no reason. He definitely should not be allowed to be working in customer service. I arrived 20min before they closed (after getting off from work) when I went up to him to greet him/order at the cash register he asked me if I had a TO-GO order… I told him I didn’t proceeds to tell me they were closing soon. I then asked him if I was able to place an order for To-Go, he gave a deep sigh said “I guess” so I place my order to go. When the food is finally ready I noticed there wasn’t any condiments in the bag asked him for some. (Usually, they’ll ask me if I want any condiments on the side)He marched to the back of the cashier and slammed the condiments on the counter walked away from me. The cook in the back heard saw it… JeJe do better with your closer/cashier because even with the face mask he was wearing, he lacks customer service etiquette. Though, I never lost my temper with his impoliteness-OTHERS WILL NOT tolerate him never return to the restaurant.

If you want delicious Turkish food eat at Jeje. I grew up eating Turkish food and I am picky- but JeJe delivers. I rarely eat meat, so if I do- it must be worth it. The chicken kebab is super tender and perfectly paired with hummus, a side salad, pickles, rice and pita. The Iskender kebab (one of my all time favorite foods) is very balanced and so delicious. Service is kind and efficient. If you need Mediterranean food in your life- go eat at JeJe. I ate there 4 times last week!
