Bidrage med feedbackVisited Minori since we are all craving for japanese. Decorations are very nice. Looks very japanese with tatami area too. We went for lunch, and the place is just hot. Cant feel the aircon but atleast they have electric fan. Got several dishes: 1. Gohan fried rice tastes good but very oily, 2. Shoyu Ramen taste is ok, not too strong, and i liked the handpulled noodles. Initially my colleagues thought it was udon, but it looks homemade noodles to me. 3. Tonkatsu strong taste 4. Beef teppan strong sauce and flavor, not a fan. 5. Ebi tempura a little expensive, not prawns but the crispiness is there and very good taste. 6. Sake chizu sushi tastes okay. Surprisingly the last dish to arrive. Normally this should be the appetizer. We just find it weird that the person at the sushi bar is not wearing gloves when making sushi, and the place needs to be cleaned thoroughly. When we left the place, the smoky smell retains in our clothes and skin. Which means their exhaust are not enough because we are the only customers there and we didnt even order a lot. Not much on the menu at dinnertime on a slow week night. Maybe 3 out of 4 things we tried to order was out of stock. Was served salmon that stunk; definitely not fresh. We sent it back and staff didn’t protest— they knew it was bad. At this point, we had been waiting 45 minutes for an order of tempura, some sashimi, and a few rice bowls. Finally they served the rest of our food— first by reasoning out that there were lots of orders (there was barely anyone there) then finally relenting and admitting that they ran out of rice. It was not exactly premium rice they ran out of— rice felt cheap, not any different from carinderia fare. Charsiu was tough, leathery to the point of bitternss; almost like jerky. And they tried to cover this up by drowning it in sweet sauce. I do not understand how this can be considered one of the best restos in Kalibo. It was a sad, sad experience. Please avoid this place and allow it to die a natural death. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱400–600 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
