The Regal Restaurant - Kaleen

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, citing his extensive culinary experience. I parked right outside the restaurant so I could keep an eye on my car through the large window. The place was busy enough on a quiet Wednesday night to assure me it was safe, so I decided to dine in. A friendly hostess seated me and my party, and we were quickly served drinks. We had a minor hiccup with the menus, but that was the only negative experience of the evening. I decided to try the roasted duck, which was delicious and worth every penny. The crispy skin and moist flesh were a delight, unlike any duck I had ever tasted before. Overall, the food was excellent, but the roasted duck stole the show. I must also mention the quality of the duck skin, which was thin, delicate, and reminiscent of royalty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant, with or without my friend's recommendation.

This restaurant is great! They have fantastic gluten-free options and the food was well cooked and served quickly. The whole family loved the honey chicken and other dishes. Even my picky daughter enjoyed four servings of the fried rice, which was amazing. My son wasn't a fan of the noodles, but he finished everything else on his plate.

I have lived in Canberra for the past 18 years and this restaurant has changed ownership several times during that period. It used to serve ordinary Chinese cuisine, but the new owners have recently made some changes to the menu. What a pleasant surprise! The quality and quantity of the food has vastly improved. I recommend trying their special dishes rather than the regular Chinese fare. We recently tried the Duck Ente special and it was quite delicious. Our group of 8 adults also enjoyed the warm and delicious soup with duck, pork ribs, deep fried fish, silk tofu, beef hotpot, and noodles with mixed sweet double egg. While the noodles were a bit dry, they were still tasty. The waitress was lovely, providing friendly service with a smile and traditional Chinese hospitality. Our group appreciated the delicious dishes and will definitely return for more.

Friendly and efficient service, from sitting to payment of bill. the food was fresh and fast to the table. recommend the salt and chili whitebait, delicious! Please note that this restaurant is not in western, it is in belconnen.

Nice little Chinese restaurant, the food is nice, and the lunch deal is really good! We always enjoy the food there, both for lunch and dinner.
