Bidrage med feedbackI stopped eating during a trip. All meats are halal. Good tasting sandwiches. Beef was better tasted than chicken.
This is the first time my husband and I tried Shawarma King. The staff was friendly and friendly. The waitress we had was very attentive, like the one she took. The food at the hot bar and salad bar was delicious. I had the beef Shawarma, biryani rice, okra, and green beans along with some baba ghanoush and it was all well seasoned and tasteful. My husband had the chicken Shawarma and lamb meatballs and he loved them. All I know is that, we will definitely go back because everything we had was amazing. Very nice family-oriented atmosphere. We had the buffet. It was nice to try some different dishes. Baklava and rice pudding with cinnamon were a pleasure.
We drove from NYC to Kalamazoo today. We were very hungry and tired. I really liked the problem solving skills of Zaineb I hope I wrote her name right. We ordered beef shawarma and we updated the order as without sauce, later. I wasn't sure if the cook was already prepared or not. However, Zaineb helped immediately and changed our order. At the end of our meal, she was ready very quickly. We liked the quality of meat and French fries were also exceptional. It was very surprising for us. Thank you. Chef! I wish you were in NYC so we could get as fast as possible. ! Nothing but 5 stars might want to change the curtains in the future at some point :
Shawarma King is hands-down my favorite place to eat in Kzoo. I frequent the Westnedge location for the buffet (Drake Rd location only offering menu ordering). The food is not only amazing, ten-fold once you add the Toum (garlic sauce) to EVERYTHING, but it also offers a great experience in another culture’s cuisine. The staff is extremely friendly and will greet you familiarly once you’ve visited enough times and the recognize you. The Lentil soup is heavenly. They even offer a package of a variety of forms of baklava, which if you haven’t ever tried, you simply must!! Love this place. If you haven’t at least tried it, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
