Mac Kenzies' Bakery - Kalamazoo

Sooo good and so much fun. Stay for an hour. Best coffee, best treats and best bread all around. Relaxing and invigorating at the same time. PS the girls here will smile just because they can. Friends come up here.

Twenty years ago, when my husband and I tasted our wedding cake, he promised me that if MacKenzies still open on our 20th. Anniversary would be, we would reorder the same cake because THAT was amazing. The little top cake we enjoy on our 1st anniversary was even better than any cake we had ever eaten. Twenty years later I called MacKenzies, email pictures of our original cake and a few weeks later my husband and I drove 3 hours to pick it up and 3 hours at home. To see it again brought tears to my eyes. We invited friends for dinner and allowed all our wedding and anniversary cakes to enjoy with us. Of course it was all we had waited for! Thank you for meeting our expectations and keeping my amazing husband the second most important promise he made this day.

Carol 2, and the rest of her staff are very friendly, thus making it more of chatting with friends and getting a snack too. Best bread and baked goods in town. Sure miss Carol 1, however...

This place is nice and clean, the staff is friendly. Not so many options even though I have mini chocolate cake for 7.99

I had the best service today! I ordered a carrot cake in downtown at 6:30 am and it was made, decorated and delivered to the West Main Store at 10:00 am for pickup. Thank you.
