Yperano - Kalamata

It was so good we went twice and will go again!! Because food is so good everywhere in Greece, we try to go to new places all the time. However, the food here was so good that we came back to dinner at one of our precious nights in Kalamata. The food is beautifully homemade and it is obvious that it was cooked with great care. I had a pig sauce and my partner Steak. Unbelievable! We also got some fried cheese croquets that melt in the mouth. The most impressive thing was that one of the owners remembered what we had ordered during our previous visit and made recommendations on this basis. The friendly welcome of the people who work here and the good food will definitely bring us back to our next trip. The prices are amazing for such a full meal (especially if you are from Northern Europe). Thank you for a wonderful unforgettable meal by the sea!

Great food. I came here by chance and look forward to returning. Fresh fish, local meat, and you need to try the mixed plates.

Large quantity and variety of foods. We have grilled vegetables for an appetizer and the mixed grill for dinner. Much more than enough for two people, reasonably expensive. Definitely stop back for the seafood grill before we return to land.

We've been once and the food was great, not amazing. Price wise it's good and offers a good view over the sea but they could improve on the seats a renew a little bit. Out the four of us, 2 chairs broke as soon as we sat on it. The server was a nice lad.

Good food. Plentiful portions. The meat pikilia had a lot of food and it was very tasty. The zucchini fritters and the cheese croquettes are delicious.
