Álas - Kalamaria Municipality

Located in Kalamaria area, on a main street, is this place called Alas where I have been meaning to go for a long time, and finally got the chance. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was decorated very elegantly. It would definitely be a place where would take a chick for a first date if I were single. The menu was your run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant menu with the beef patties and steaks, and chicken and all the rest, and tasted pretty good. The salads were very refreshing and definitely above average. The desert was tops and free as well, and everything altogether was mediocre priced. I would go there again.

Had a takeaway. The meal was ready at the appointed time. The meal was enjoyable and good value. They give good sized portions so we could not eat it all. Cost €32 for two.

Typical contemporary Greek cuisine with a twist. Good quality fresh food for a fair price. Modern interior, funtcional design, looks urban-industrial. Timely service with a smile. Can get busy on the weekends.

Nice local place with tasty dishes.not an extensive menu and all meat ,but that's how it should be. Adequate wine list. Above all prices are reasonable. 2 appetizers ,2 mains and 2 drinks at around 40 euros. I would suggest an addition of one to 2 fish dishes. Would visit again
