Coco Island Cuisine - Kailua-Kona

Eating here is absolutely fabulous and very inventive! However, it is carefully prepared slow food and this takes some time... Plus, as mentioned a previous review: I also wish they had longer hours, but it is a great lunch place:

Great experience here, lady who served us, was very beautiful and came out to clean the outdoor tables every time between customers. Food was excellent and huge portions. But it was on the fat side, so just splurge here if you haven't met your cravings quota for the month yet.

Hard, but delicious. 808 is a family-run restaurant with exclusive service. They have seats outside, but the parking lot will heat up quickly. We ordered a variety of moss and Benedictines. The smoked meat moko was recommended by the owner. We also got a Benedikt trio, a Kalua hash Benedict and the Portuguese sausage moco. All super delicious, salty and rich. Will definitely recommend, but probably after an afternoon or activity.

Wonderful experience! Here for breakfast... service was fast and the food was delicious. I was looking for good food on my trip, but that changed the game. I had the coconut palms with the coconut syrup and the hash side. Delicious! Cash was just a disadvantage.

Dope food. The chocolate chip pancakes were huge and very good. Also got the omelette with adobo rice phenomenal! There was a line and not much seating space outside (there is no dine in) but we got the food pretty quick within 5 8mins. CASH only so bring the mula
