Pineacres Bar Restaurant - Kaiapoi

Today, 17 of us had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and we were immediately given delicious bread rolls with garlic butter when we sat down. Our meals, either Angus porterhouse steak or roast chicken, were served to us just 30 minutes after ordering. The dessert, Warm spiced Bread pudding, was outstanding - it was hot, spicy, and served with ice cream and custard. Many of us also enjoyed the Passionfruit ice cream with chocolate mousse and strawberries. Overall, it was a great day thanks to the fantastic food and service.

The food is tasty, and the staff is welcoming. Perfect for dining with a group. Great for accommodating large parties.

Great food and Staff. Prices are very reasonable and Pineacres Restaurant and Bar is easy to see and get off and back on State Highway One. Pit stop for people with lots of space for parking and nice rest rooms . Food was the best value around the whole South island on our trip. Best for last. Keri Ann, our waitress was amazing. It was school holidays and her service and service skills were appreciated by all the people around us.The chef was top class too. Lots of tables and space for sitting in the sun and enjoying the very good food.

We enjoyed the special of the day, which was slow roasted brisket served with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli, puréed peas, and delicious gravy. The service was fast and the meal was beautifully presented. The brisket was tender and flavorful, making it a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Overall, it was excellent value for the quality of food we received.
