Martin's - Kadesh

I'm very hesitant giving an iconic popular place a low rating, however, as others have mentioned they need to do a better job cleaning up. Seven layers of dust and caked grease on the window sills and blinds add nothing to the ambiance or the food we were constantly paranoid that the thick dust will fall into our food.

My boss brought me here for lunch, saying they have the best fried chicken in the Gump, and he was correct!Our waitress was nice, and the atmosphere was that of an old country restaurant.They are a meat and 3 with a rotating menu, but fried chicken is always an item. I wish I had taken a photo of the chicken.

The vegetables tasted as if they were from a can with no seasoning in the. The green beans were swimming and grease. The pully bone chicken and the corn bread were delicious.

Staff was awesome. Very friendly. The food was even better. The fried chicken was off the chain.
