Best sandwiches and soup in town!. Forget the subway, eat here. I love the lunch combination: half a sandwich and soup. The Clam Chowder is good, actually the whole soup is good. Dedicated staff and owner, only wonderful people! This is the place where I eat the most!

Excellent Hot Dog option. When Udder in Juneau is probably the place where a Chili-Käsehund stops. Menu has limited options to 'build' like your own, but you can also soups, fresh sandwiches, and baked potatoes at your meal as well. The hot dogs are HUGE for what you usually get to a meal, and the prices are very affordable--espec when feeding several people!

This place is pure vanilla. There is no frills or gimmicks. They have great frozen yogurt and excellent chili. The sandwiches are good but a little overpriced. I like the self service situation they have going on. When dining in, after you finish, you must leave your dirty dishes on a cart which is periodically maintained by the staff (which are usually entry level high school kids. Not the best service ever but you can tell they are good kids. It has a tribute to the troops on the far wall near the road entrance. Thank you for that. I recommend the soup of the day, the froyo of the day, and the chili bowl.
