Stopped for late lunch after a long day working at the ranch. Fried whole fish was ok. They get them from Laguna de Perlas in the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua. The fish is small so the order had two. The restaurant, sandwiched between the highway and a bend of the river Mayales, is composed of thatched grass huts facing the river, so its refreshing to be sitting next to it to enjoy the view and the wildlife. I saw a pair of guardabarranco birds, the national bird, an iguana and a garrobo were playing nearby. Also in the river swimming we saw what the locals call perro de rio river dog. I assume it is some kind of river otter. The beer was cold and the view was awesome. I recommend you come and enjoy a few hours in communion with nature.

Ya había ido 2 veces anteriores, estaba lleno por la temporada, pero rica la comida y buenos precios, atención amable y el propietario siempre pendiente de que los clientes estén comodos

Excelente restaurante. La mejor sopa de huevos de toro de Nicaragua! Los pescados son bien ricos y a buen precio.
