We used to live right down the road from the Amish Market restaurants. Now whenever we come home, this is the first place we come to!! Beiler's has the best fried chicken. The pretzel logs are a must and the homemade salads are awesome. Check out the breads and desserts at the bakery!
Great place. A lot of fun looking. There is this little jewelry store that is so fun. 2 dollars is the most you will pay. Nice food also.
Everything is Amazing at these Markets. From hot custom made foods and desserts to bargains galore...including tens of thousands of movies and music on all formats. You could easily spend half a day.
I 've been here MANY times. I 've found so many ridiculous things in the flea market portion of this place, including an official, numbered cell from the opening sequence of Bewitched for $15. This time we went to visit the second-hand videogame booth, on a mission to find an appropriate game for my boyfriend 's nephew, who is turning 11 next week. I was also hoping that my mother would be able to find some Christmas gifts for her VR-playing grandchildren, but sometimes she just won 't get into the mission. She did manage to sweet talk another vendor into a free stopper for a cruet bottle she has at home, though. My boyfriend also managed to find this cute, light blue bong for $20 to replace the one he smashed two weeks ago. SCORE! Since it was Saturday, the Amish Market was open so we got to stock up on candy. Peanut Chews in bulk!! Raspberry hard candies and gummies! Buy one, get one free leftover Halloween gummy bears and sour pumpkins!! And we had to get a little snack from the pretzel place. They were out of the breakfast logs. I got the chicken bacon ranch log and it was very satisfying. My boyfriend got the cheesesteak log, and a garlic pretzel. He seemed pleased with both. My mom got a plain pretzel but spent most of her time cleaning out part of her purse after she broke the zipper on one compartment. She had a rosary, a picture of Jesus and a sewing kit in that compartment. Nothing else. Like, how often does she find herself sewing on the go? NEVER, that 's when. She 's a bizarre woman. But the absolute winner of a find was the sodas from Reading. Blueberry Birch and Blackberry Cream. We couldn 't decide which flavor was better. Pure cane sugar FTW!! It was a fun little excursion. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare, with all the people wandering the lot. I suggest you head directly to the back of the lot, where you 'll find the most empty spaces. It 's not a long walk to the building.
