Long John Silver's (70231) - Jonesboro

I love this place. If someone tries to tell you that this is the same as Captain D's, they are sadly wrong. The fish is boiled to a golden mouth water perfection. The juicy chicken is just as good, made with the same exquisite dough. They seem to be quite rare in Atlanta, so if I'm in the Morrow area, I'll make this stop. Do not be discouraged from the drive line. It's definitely worth waiting.

I wish they were more than Captain D’S, because LJS is the truth!!!! Every time I'm south, I'm trying to visit this and her fried food is the way to go! I tried the grill and it was just okay...

I've eaten fish from Long John, they've all closed near me. I saw this one in Jonesboro and went in. Absolutely the best Long John's I've ever been. Staff wouldn't have been better. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and perfect. Ten stars from five! I definitely go back.

The first time you have food. Friend bought me lunch. Everything was delicious! Great work with the green beans! Nice surprise! Go on!

SO GOOD!!!!! They make the food to order....or seemed to have. They appeared to batter then fry as you ordered. Very friendly. It's about an hour drive from me but we'll worth it. Will be back soon!
