Truth - Joliet

It was our first time there. The crab cakes were excellent. The mushroom soup was fantastic! My husband had the steak special is was tender. I had a seafood canneloni was pretty good had a little kick to it! Definitely will go back!

It's been sometime since we've been here, since we moved a bit further away. But glad we came back to try Truth again. Nice atmosphere. Not too quiet and yet not too loud. The bar was somewhat small, but was still quite busy. People seemed to be havinga good time. Nice menu. Not too big, yet plenty to choose from, including nightly specials. Good drinks and desserts. We'll goagain.

Our office is located just down the street from this hidden gem, and we’ve never been disappointed with the food or the service. The chicken Caesar pizza appetizer is absolutely delicious, and the blackened chicken puff pastry is equally tasty. The waitstaff has always been friendly and efficient. The main entrees are flavorful and beautifully presented. We're really glad this restaurant is nearby since we're all tired of having to travel to the northwest suburbs for a great dining experience. The Truth can definitely compete with any restaurant out there.

Some might argue that a white tablecloth restaurant can't be casual enough for everyone to enjoy both a wonderful meal and a relaxed atmosphere. They are mistaken. This is exactly the place you're looking for. Truth's bar is the ideal spot to be at 5:00 PM (or earlier on Saturdays), and the staff will make you feel like a regular in no time. If you've been in Joliet for a while, it’s likely you’ll bump into a friend here. We also love dining at the bar. The prices are reasonable, the drinks are excellent, and the staff is fantastic. The food is remarkable, with most entrees priced under $20, and it's clear that someone in the kitchen knows what they’re doing. This is our favorite spot in Joliet, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
