Applebees Grill - Joliet

We went there on 4.21.23. we felt welcomed and the ambience was good. The server took good care of us. We saw one server vibing herself with the dance moves for the music really appreciate it.The manager was friendly, helping the servers. The food quantity was pretty good enough for the price. Only one thing their boneless wings,tenders and onion rings was heavy battered which made little hard to eat. If they fix this this it would be great.

The food was OK their idea of medium well is to have the steak burnt. They were understaffed, the staff is under qualified, and our food was delivered without any way to cut the food. The manager came out to explain that all the silverware was being cleaned, and knives would be provided as soon as possible. Yet people who came in after us, while our food was sitting in front of us, somehow got knives before us. My wife who is the essence of sweetness and said that we will never return to any Applebee’s.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium well and was basically rare... still bleeding, absolutely disgusting. We ordered a brownie bite with ice cream and got a bite of a brownie with no icecream. The kids fries were cold and so were my green beans. Definitely will not be going back, complete waste of money.

We went tonight with 7 people without reservations within 5 minutes and then we even added another person and there was no problem. we had sky as our waitress, we are a loud and very complex family lol and she did great! she was very fast and friendly! Eat was well loved the french woof soup!
