Szechuan East - Johnstown

One of the only Chinese restaurants that allows dine in eating, that isn’t a buffet. I’m tired of the over steamed food in a to go container. I wanted freshly made food on the table, and this is the only place I know of in the Johnstown area. The beef and broccoli was excellent! Beef cho cho was very good as well. I’ve had the General Tso’s and it was really good. The hot mustard here is excellent.

Celebrating our 4 month anniversary there. Food was good. Our server Jessie was top notch. Seemed like she was everywhere doing everything and doing it well. Kudos.

The food is still good, but not what is was a year or so ago. New ownership. Everything was quite salty, but portions are still big. Nice for dining in or takeout. Waitstaff is good.

Love the lunch specials, always kind, courteous, and responsive staff, and you get a huge amount of food for a great price! The food is some of the best around!
