Jake's Pub Grill - Johnstown

The service and cuisine were delicious. I enjoyed the signature salad with the recommended balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The restaurant was busy but the wait staff was very attentive. Great pub feel with large TV's airing sporting events.

Good food but terrible takeout service. I've had multiple occasions where the wait time is insane. tonight I was told 35 minutes and the food would be done at 6:15. At 7pm I left after waiting for 45 minutes without any food. I'll never be ordering takeout again and may never return. Terrible customer service and terrible management. i realize it's the holidays and your busy but just don't take my order. Ownership should be ashamed.

This is a pretty solid bar style restaurant! They had a lot of menu options and many things that looked great. The burgers and sandwiches were good, the fries were awesome and they can add different seasonings to them which were good. The salad was average, probably wouldn't get one again. Overall, I'll go back to try more of the menu!

We are there a few times and it was ok. Last time I made the mistake of ordering fried fish to go on a Friday that was St. Patrick's day. I stood there more than an hour waiting in a very crowded restaurant. Eventually the bartender refunded my money because the servers kept serving food from my order.

Friendly servers, good food, and it's just a comfortable place to be. Not to mention parking is never a problem. I love places like this that have something to do after eating, like shopping.
