Cozy Café Johnston

We've been looking for someplace to replace the Waffle House as our favorite breakfast place! Love the country sausage gravy!WE FOUND IT!The food was great and the service quick and friendly!We can't wait to try the dinner menu items, so much to choose from!

Great breakfast stop. The pancakes and cozy mess were really good.

The chocolate chip pancake was worth the whole trip from Texas to Iowa.

Food wasn’t good, eggs were greasy, bacon was undercooked, waffles were meh. Ordered breakfast potatoes got tater tots, which were over cooked, didn’t say anything though because it took over 30 minutes to get our food, didn’t want to wait. Server was super nice, but had too many tables (not nearly enough servers, so didn’t get much service. Toast was good.

I ordered the steak and could hardly chew it. It also tasted funny and had a horrible after taste. The cinnamon roll tasted like chemicals! Would NOT go back!!!
