Peerless Steakhouse Grill

I hadn't been to the Peerless in years, but I took advantage of an opportunity to eat there a couple of weeks ago. I will say that I was very pleasantly surprised, as I thought the food was much better than it had been in the past. I had prime rib, and my husband had chicken. We both enjoyed our entrees, and the margarita I had was one of the best I'd had in a long time. We both felt that the prices were not much higher than a mid-range steakhouse chain, but the food was much better quality. If you haven't been there in awhile, I would definitely give it another chance!

Historic (80 years), outstanding dining atmosphere. Serviceable bar area (cocktails), but nothing outstanding (no risks, no large selection of bourbon, for example, 3 faucet beer tap with Stella, Miller Lite, and another mainstream beer). Entree was tasty (Carbonera) and reasonably priced, and salad was fresh. I did not enjoy the crab cake. Limited dessert menu. Go for the atmosphere very reasonable prices for a nice meal.

Just moved here from CO. Was staying at a hotel close by. Stopped in for carry out and a drink at the bar. Everyone was SO friendly. Got so excited about our take out that I forgot my purse. Called the next morning to see if I had indeed left it there and they had even put it in the safe for me!! The bartender was the sweetest (I believe it is Sheila). Will definitely be back now that we are settled in the area!! Food was great as well. Thanks again!!

My family and I have dined at Peerless Restaurant on numerous occasions and each visit has been a great dining experience. The food is always top quality, expertly prepared and distinctively delicious. The menu is varied and the numerous dishes served over the years continue to be remarkable and memorable. Prices are very reasonable for such superb offerings. Desserts are heavenly... The service and the ambiance are excellent.
